China-Taiwanese joint company McEmblem Manufacturing Ltd. is going to set up metal manufacturing industry in Comilla EPZ.
This company will invest $ 6.03 million for setting up the plant with annual production capacity of 15.75 million pcs metal label pin, medal, key chain.
Morover, McEmblem Manufacturing Company will create employment opportunity for 1486 Bangladeshi nationals.
In this regard, an agreement has signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and  McEmblem Manufacturing Co. Ltd. at BEPZA Complex in the city.
Sayed Nurul Islam, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Hung, Chih-Cheng, Managing Director of McEmblem Manufacturing Co. Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations on Wednesday.
